Mr. Ward has participated in numerous international programs:

International Foundation for Education and Self-Help- Addis Abba, Ethiopia.
Teacher Exchange Program - DC-Moscow and St. Petersburg, Russia.
Fulbright Memorial Scholar - Tokyo and Imabari City, Japan.

Mr. Ward loves international travel and spending time with his mother (Delores), sisters (Carol and Lenne), Godson (Marquell) and close friends.
Mr. Ward is a native North Carolinian. He was born in Halifax County; home of the Halifax Resolves, which is the precursor of the Declaration of Independence. After graduating as valedictorian of his senior class at Enfield High, he matriculated at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill on a Pogue Scholarship. While enrolled at UNC he was involved in numerous activities, amongst these were Order of The Bell Tower, Big Buddy Program (Campus Y), Mic-Man, Dorm Lt. Governor and the Black Student Movement. While at UNC, he was also initiated into the Theta Omicron Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi, Fraternity Incorporated.

After relocating to Washington DC, Mr. Ward obtained a Master's Degree in Education from Trinity College and has worked at the Library of Congress, Charles Young Elementary, Harriet Tubman Elementary (Summer School Principal), and currently Paul Public Charter.

Mr. Ward has recently been named as Executive Director of College Bound, Inc.
